STEP 1.

The first step is to search through the vehicles available on TradeaLease.com via the Search Listings Section. You can search by Year, Make, Model, Payment, Location, and/or Months Remaining and the best thing about it is that it is FREE!

The search process highlights the important terms of each lease, such as monthly payment, miles allowed, and months remaining. You can click on each vehicle listing for more detailed information.

You can ask questions about the vehicle directly with the seller FREE.

If you do not find a leased vehicle that meets your needs, use the "Notify Me" feature and we will notify you by email when a vehicle matching your preferences becomes available.

STEP 2.

Once you find a vehicle of interest, the next step is to register as a lease Buyer with TradeaLease and it is FREE!
You will be asked to provide some contact information that will later be used for sellers to contact you and for the lease transfer and lease swap

After registering, you will gain access to the contact information for sellers on the FREE swap a lease site.

Buyer Registration is FREE!
This service includes access to seller contact information, unlimited customer support from TradeaLease.com, a buyer "mailbox," and all internal processing through the transfer process. Your FREE! Registration can be used for an unlimited number of vehicles.

STEP 3.

Once you find a leased vehicle to take over and you have contacted the Seller, the next step is to initiate the lease transfer or lease swap process. The lease transfer initiation process includes a credit check, which will determine whether you are eligible to assume the lease.

You and your Seller should also discuss the lease swap or lease transfer details. It is important to consider all of the details, such as whether shipping is involved or vehicle inspections will be required and if any buyer $$$$ incentives will be necessary.

Your Seller contact information is stored in your Buyer "mailbox".

STEP 4.

The transfer initiation process with the leasing company includes a credit check for the potential Buyer, which will determine whether Buyer is eligible to assume a lease or swap a lease. Once your credit has been approved by the leasing company and you have agreed to make a lease transfer, TradeaLease or leasing company guides you through the entire lease transfer process. You simply provide the necessary information, sign the documents, and take possession of the vehicle.

Upon signing off on the paperwork provided by your leasing company and handing over the keys to your vehicle, the process is complete!
